Business > Coating Service   CrN (Chromium Nitride) CrN possesses relatively low residual stress, giving better adhesion and toughness than other PVD coatings. Chippings and detachments of coatings occur less and hardness and flexibility are maintained even when thickly coated. CrN coating also has high wear resistance, thermal resistance, and corrosion resistance, making it highly applicable in both ferrous and non-ferrous metal fabrications. It is especially effective in minimizing stockings’ of injection molded parts into the mould.
