(Compression force measurement instrument)

Using a diamond tip, continuous weights are applied until the coating layer is
destroyed and removed. At this point, the adhesion force is measured quantitati-
vely.

By examining the ultrasonic waveform and the changes in frictions comprehen-
sively, you can determine at which critical load the film is removed.
